Job Overview:
We are an independent Cafe located in Canada Water. It is a new opening store. We are seeking a skilled Head Barista to join our team to help preparing the opening. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious coffee beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea
- Prepare SOP and drinks presentation with manager before shop open
- Ensure the quality of drinks meets the cafe's standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the cafe area
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service
- Operate the till system accurately
- Prepare stock and conduct stock counting as required by the manager
Requirements:
- At least 2 years barista experience is required
- Experience on dialing espresso is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist colleagues as needed
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
