Salary: £28,000 basic, plus an attractive uncapped sales commission

About the role
The Cosmetic College is looking for a driven and personable Sales & Admissions Advisor to help prospective students choose the right training for their career goals.
You will manage enquiries from initial contact through to enrolment, taking the time to understand each prospective student’s needs, recommend suitable courses and provide consistent, proactive follow-up.
This is a target-driven role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, converting opportunities and taking ownership of their results. Previous experience within the beauty, aesthetics or cosmetic training industry would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to new enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Build rapport with prospective students and identify their goals, needs, suitability and readiness to enrol.
- Explain the College’s courses clearly and confidently, helping prospective students select the most appropriate option.
- Proactively follow up enquiries and nurture prospective students throughout their decision-making journey.
- Convert qualified opportunities into course enrolments.
- Work towards and consistently achieve individual and College sales targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of enquiries, conversations and follow-up activity.
- Manage your sales pipeline independently, prioritising activity according to operational needs and commercial opportunities.
- Provide a positive, supportive and professional experience at every stage of the admissions process.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and share feedback that may improve the student journey or sales performance.
- Keep your knowledge of the College’s courses, entry requirements and industry developments current.
About you
You will be:
- Experienced in sales, ideally within a consultative or education-focused environment.
- Confident conducting active follow-up and managing prospects through a structured sales process.
- Skilled at identifying customer needs, qualifying opportunities and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Target-driven, commercially minded and motivated by achieving measurable results.
- Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable taking ownership of your performance.
- Able to work independently while responding to changing operational priorities.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple enquiries and follow-up activities.
- Professional, approachable and genuinely interested in helping people develop their careers.
- Comfortable using customer relationship management systems and other digital tools.
Desirable experience
- Knowledge or experience of the beauty, aesthetics or cosmetic treatment industry.
- Experience selling education, training courses or other considered-purchase services.
- An existing understanding of the motivations and concerns of prospective beauty or aesthetics students.
