HGV Class 1 Drivers (PAYE) – Day Work – Wednesbury
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional drivers looking for ongoing Class 1 day work, delivering palletised food oils to customers.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
HGV Class 1 – Days:
- £17.25 per hour (standard PAYE)
- £19.33 per hour (rolled-up holiday pay)
The Role
- Class 1 day work
- Delivering palletised food oils
- Multi-drop deliveries to customers
- Loading and unloading goods
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring goods are delivered safely
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is desirable
- Good understanding of drivers' hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Good customer service skills
