The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or part-qualified candidate looking to develop their career within a supportive practice environment. You will work closely with senior accountants and managers, gaining exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
- Assisting with management accounts
- Assisting with personal and corporation tax computations
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries
- Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc assignments
About You
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT
- Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
