Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and distribution centres.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption.
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience but not essential
- Valid driving licence
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading goods.
- A clean driving record is essential, along with the ability to pass background checks if required.
Pay: £125.00-£220.00 per day
