With us you have a unique opportunity. You'll cater for many different types of events, ranging from banquets and weddings, to canapé receptions and finger buffets from as little as 25 guests to several 1000. You must be passionate about food, and care about quality and presentation. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and committed individual, who can consistently provide a great customer experience, who consistently demonstrates initiative.
A large percentage of the work will be outdoors during the summer months cooking BBQs, pig roasts, preparing canapes for a wedding reception, or even cooking at a large music festival.
You will be expected to follow recipes, and work to quality standards to ensure presentation, portion control and health and safety requirements are satisfied. You will maintain your working area, and keep the catering area safe and clean, adhering to our food safety systems to ensure we maintain our 5 hygiene rating. Cleaning duties, washing up and general tidying of on-site kitchens must be undertaken.
An ability to build good relationships, and remain calm under pressure is important as you will be part of a team, going out to various venues so a driving licence will be essential. We are looking for you to be well presented, demonstrate good communication skills and present a professional and courteous manner.
