Store Experience Coordinator – Hessle Store

This is a key front-of-house role where you will help set the tone for the customer’s store experience, providing a warm and professional welcome while ensuring every customer is guided smoothly to the right person or department.
You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers and visitors, so your ability to create a positive, friendly and professional experience will be essential. You will take time to understand why each customer is visiting, coordinate clear handovers to Sales, Service, Aftersales or other relevant colleagues, and help ensure the customer journey feels organised, personal and well managed.
Alongside this customer-facing responsibility, you will support the store with routine administration, helping to keep records, systems and daily processes accurate and up to date.

The Role
As a Store Experience Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional and organised store environment. You will help customers feel looked after from the moment they arrive, ensuring they are listened to, understood and introduced to the right colleague or department.
You will support the customer journey by managing the front-of-house experience, handling customer enquiries, coordinating visitor flow and making sure handovers to Sales, Service, Aftersales and other teams are clear and timely.
You will also help maintain the standards of the customer welcome area, ensuring it is clean, neat, tidy and ready to create the right impression. In addition, you will support the store with routine administration, helping to keep customer records, documents and systems accurate and up to date.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a warm, professional and helpful welcome to all customers, visitors and colleagues
- Creating a positive first impression that reflects the CarSupermarket.com customer experience
- Taking time to understand each customer’s reason for visiting
- Coordinating smooth and clear handovers to Sales, Service, Aftersales and other support teams
- Supporting customers over the telephone with professionalism, care and attention to detail
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming customer reception and waiting area
- Completing routine administration accurately and on time
- Keeping customer records, documents and administration systems up to date
- Working closely with colleagues to help deliver a smooth and organised customer journey
- Following company processes, GDPR requirements and customer confidentiality standards
Who we are looking for
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in creating a great customer experience and can stay organised in a busy store environment.
You will need to be warm, confident, professional and approachable, with the ability to make customers feel welcome while also supporting the store with accurate administration and clear communication.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, front-of-house, reception, administration or customer service role
- A passion for delivering a great customer experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, professional and helpful approach
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple customers, calls and administration tasks
- Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft 365
- A positive and adaptable approach in a busy store environment
- An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and accurate record keeping
Automotive experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. What matters most is that you care about customers, take pride in your work and want to contribute to a professional, welcoming and well-organised store experience.
