We are delighted to be working exclusively with a highly respected specialist consultancy that has established an outstanding reputation for delivering expert technical advice across façade engineering, external wall systems, cladding inspections, remediation and building envelope consultancy.
For many years, the business has been trusted by housing associations, developers, managing agents, local authorities, insurers and commercial clients to provide independent, practical and technically robust advice on some of the UK's most complex residential and commercial buildings.
Due to continued growth and an increasing demand for their specialist expertise, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Façade Consultant to join their expanding team.

The Role
Working remotely and covering projects throughout London and the South East, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consultancy services across a varied portfolio of buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out façade and cladding inspections
- Producing detailed technical reports
- Undertaking external wall assessments
- Inspecting existing building envelope systems
- Identifying defects and recommending remediation solutions
- Advising clients on compliance and industry best practice
- Attending client meetings and presenting technical findings
- Supporting remediation projects from investigation through to completion
- Managing your own projects and workload
- Developing long-term relationships with clients and industry professionals
Experience
Successful candidates are likely to have experience in several of the following areas:
- Façade Engineering
- Cladding Consultancy
- Building Envelope Consultancy
- External Wall Systems
- PAS 9980 Assessments
- FRAEW Reports
- EWS1 Assessments
- Fire Safety relating to External Wall Systems
- Building Surveying
- Cladding Remediation
- Façade Condition Surveys
- Technical Report Writing
Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MCIOB, MIStructE, MICE or CEng would be advantageous but are not essential. More importantly, we're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality consultancy reports while building lasting relationships with clients.
