A Shade Greener Maintenance Ltd provide operations, maintenance and monitoring services for renewable energy systems and are responsible for over 70,000 solar systems and over 1,000 biomass boilers.
We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our established service and maintenance department.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and work experience within domestic properties. Solar PV experience is an advantage, however in house training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have worked for some time in a similar role developing their skills and knowledge. The candidate will be from an electrical installation/maintenance background with working knowledge of domestic electrical installations. Trained and qualified to the relevant standards, minimum requirements as set out below.
The role will involve working as part of a team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of an existing database of domestic installations.

- Experience working with domestic electrical installations
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with attention to detail
- Have strong technical and analytical skills
- Proactive with a problem solving attitude
- A desire to work within a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- A strong work ethic, and team focused mentality
- Full driving license
Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation
- 18th Edition wiring regulations, 17th Edition competent will be considered
- Ideally 2391 or 2394/2395 qualifications
- Apprentice trained preferred
