As part of the Crimson Hotels Group, you will join the team of Holiday Inn Express London – Heathrow T5 which is a 300-room hotel is perfect for business or leisure stays. Our three meeting rooms accommodate up to 120 guests, ideal for corporate events, private dinners, and social gatherings.
What your day will look like?
As a Commis Chef, you’ll work closely with our kitchen team to support the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, preparing ingredients, following recipes and instructions, supporting the chefs during service, and ensuring food is prepared and presented to the required standards. You’ll help maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety and regulatory standards, while also supporting with stock rotation, deliveries, storage, and waste management. You’ll work as part of a busy team, helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently throughout each service.
What You’ll Bring?
We’re looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dependable Commis Chef who is passionate about food and eager to develop their culinary skills. You’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs. Good attention to detail, an understanding of food hygiene, and the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy kitchen are essential. You should be comfortable working on your feet for long periods and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Previous kitchen experience or relevant culinary training is an advantage, but we’re equally interested in your enthusiasm, commitment, and desire to build a career in the kitchen.
