You will be key to this by servicing and repairing our customers cars COMPTENTLY and EFFICIENTLY in our busy workshop. You will also become a respected part of our close knit team.
We work on all makes of cars and vans, carrying out all jobs from new wipers to replacing complete engines.
Main Duties
Successfully diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on a wide range of makes of cars (using Snap-On Zeus and soon to purchase top line Autel machine ). As the Master Tech, you will take responsibility for complex diagnostic jobs and assisting other technicians with technical enquiries.
This is not just a diagnostic position, you will also be the main technician for engine jobs such as engine replacements, head gaskets, timing chains etc.
As well as the complex jobs, you will also carry out servicing and repairs to light motor vehicles, efficiently and competently to our high standards, including brakes, suspension, electrical and drive train repairs.
Complete Vehicle Health Checks accurately to identify and report any additional work required to customer's cars.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- 8 years experience as a fully qualified technician
- MOT tester (preferred but not essential)
- Franchise / Main Dealer experience (preferred but not essential)
- Full driving licence
- Have good attention to detail
Working hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm (with a 30 minute lunch). One Saturday 8.00am -12.00pm per month.
