An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Guildford's most successful estate agency as a Sales Negotiator.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with a minimum of one year's residential estate agency experience who is ready to hit the ground running within a busy, high-performing office. You'll be joining an ambitious and supportive, an extensive buyer database and exceptional levels of market share.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating deals and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for accompanying viewings, negotiating offers, generating new business opportunities and managing your own portfolio of buyers and sellers through to the point a sale is agreed.
Unlike many agencies, we have a dedicated Sales Progression department, allowing our negotiators to focus on what they do best—winning business, negotiating sales and providing first-class customer service—rather than spending their time chasing solicitors. Your responsibility will be to ensure each agreed sale is fully qualified and accurately prepared before handing the transaction to our experienced Sales Progression team.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct Property Viewings
Accompany prospective purchasers on viewings, providing an engaging, informative and professional experience while showcasing each property's key features and lifestyle benefits.
Negotiate Offers
Negotiate between buyers and sellers to secure the best possible outcome for your clients, balancing commercial awareness with excellent customer service.
Generate New Business
Proactively identify opportunities to win new instructions through buyer relationships, referrals, canvassing, prospecting and day-to-day business generation activities.
Manage Buyer Relationships
Build strong relationships with applicants, qualify their requirements thoroughly and maintain regular contact to match them with suitable properties.
Deliver Vendor Feedback
Provide honest, constructive and timely feedback following viewings together with professional advice to help vendors make informed decisions.
Prepare Sales for Handover
Once a sale has been agreed, ensure the transaction is fully prepared before handover by confirming buyer affordability, obtaining proof of funds, solicitor details, anti-money laundering documentation and any other relevant information. Prepare comprehensive sales documentation to enable our dedicated Sales Progression team to manage the transaction efficiently through to completion.
Develop Local Market Knowledge
Build and maintain an excellent understanding of the local property market, schools, amenities and current market conditions, enabling you to provide knowledgeable advice to buyers and sellers.
Maintain Professional Standards
Always represent Seymours professionally through exceptional customer service, integrity, presentation, punctuality and communication.
