Job Summary
Due to continued business expansion, we are looking for a reliable and professional Collection and Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable role with long-term career prospects in a well-established company.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring they are secured during transit.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and receipts.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while on the road, including adherence to traffic laws.
Skills
- Valid driving licence
- Strong time management skills to ensure prompt deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods.
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- No more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes).

This role is Monday to Friday, 7am start.
