Hours
The role of Retail Security Officer:
- Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
- Carry out company policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- Carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager
- Keep site knowledge up to date and identify local developments
- Understand and implement fire and safety evacuation procedures
- Assist with staff and contractor searches when required by the client
- Maintain the security base in a clean and tidy condition at all times
- Conduct yourself professionally at all times, wearing full uniform with SIA licence clearly displayed
The ideal Retail Security Officer:
- SG or DS SIA Licence required
- Aged 18 or over
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Tech-savvy enough to use digital devices for paperless admin
- Confident communicator and team player with a friendly, professional manner
