The Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair and fault-finding of commercial gas and heating systems across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout London.
The role will involve a mixture of planned and reactive works, with engineers expected to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out PPM and planned maintenance
- Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
- Servicing and maintaining commercial gas appliances and systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Working on commercial heating systems and plant
- Carrying out gas safety and compliance checks
- Attending emergency breakdowns and call-outs
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Working across residential blocks and commercial properties
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and customer service
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer who is confident working independently across London and has a strong background in commercial gas and heating maintenance.
You will ideally have:
- ACS Commercial Gas qualifications – Essential
- Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
- Strong commercial heating experience
- Solid PPM and reactive maintenance background
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working across commercial and/or residential environments
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Willingness to participate in a structured call-out rota
- Professional approach with good customer-facing skills
