Prosthetics Dental Technician.
We are a full-service dental laboratory in Stourbridge, West Midlands.
We are looking for a Prosthetics Technician that can work in both Traditional and Digital workflows to produce exceptional dentures and dental appliances.
Traditional
You will be able to fabricate custom impression trays, bite blocks, and wax rim setups by hand.
Mount models on mechanical articulators to assess jaw relations and occlusion.
Pack, press, cure, deflask, and finish acrylic resin dentures using conventional flasking methods.
Manufacture a full range of dental appliances.
Perform high-standard denture repairs, relines, and tooth additions.
Digital.
You will be able to operate desktop scanners to digitise physical models and process incoming intraoral scans.
You will be competant with CAD software (Exocad) to design digital denture bases, teeth arrangements, and bite splints.
Confident in finishing 3d printed dentures.
Quality Assurance & Compliance.
Inspect all finished prosthetic appliances to ensure they match exact prescription parameters and meet aesthetic and functional standards.
Comply with UK Medical Devices Regulations for custom-made devices and maintain thorough laboratory traceability records.
Follow health, safety, and cross-infection control policies within the laboratory environment.
Undertake Continuing Professional Development to stay current with materials science and digital dentistry advancements.
You must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Technician.
