Foster Carer
Location: Any UK Location
Allowance: £430–£1,000 per week depending on the type of placement
Be the difference in a child's life. Become a Foster Carer with Fusion Fostering.
At Fusion Fostering, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and supported. We are looking for compassionate individuals and families from all walks of life to provide stable, nurturing homes for children and young people who cannot live with their birth families.
You don't need previous professional childcare experience to become a foster carer. What matters most is your patience, resilience, empathy, and commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
About the Role
As a Foster Carer, you will open your home and your heart to a child or young person, providing them with a safe, caring, and stable environment where they can grow, heal, and thrive.
Every child is different, and placements vary in length and complexity. Whether you're caring for a teenager, siblings, a parent and child, or providing respite care, you'll be supported every step of the way by your dedicated Supervising Social Worker and the wider Fusion Fostering team.
From your first enquiry through to welcoming a child into your home, you'll have one dedicated point of contact, ensuring continuity, consistency, and personalised support throughout your fostering journey.
What You'll Do
- Provide a safe, stable, and nurturing home.
- Support children with their emotional, educational, and social development.
- Encourage children to build confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
- Attend meetings, training, and reviews as part of the child's care plan.
- Work closely with your Supervising Social Worker, schools, social workers, and other professionals.
- Keep records to support the child's progress and wellbeing.
- Promote positive routines, boundaries, and life skills.
- Help children create happy memories and experience everyday family life.
