As Chef de Partie,you’ll combine technical skill with organisation and teamwork,ensuring dishes leave the kitchen exactly as they should. This is a role where pride in your craft,consistency and reliability truly matter.
Your day-to-day:
- Running your section confidently during service
- Preparing and cooking dishes to Cabana specification with quality,consistency and pride
- Working closely with the kitchen management team to keep service smooth and organised
- Supporting and guiding junior kitchen team members
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene,health and safety,cleanliness and organisation
- Following portion control,preparation and presentation standards to minimise waste and protect quality
- Assisting with stock control,stock rotation,deliveries and monitoring stock levels
- Ensuring ingredients are stored correctly and kept fresh
- Caring for kitchen equipment and reporting maintenance or repair needs promptly
- Supporting guest satisfaction by helping with feedback and special requests where needed
What you’ll need:
- Experience in a similar kitchen role
- Confidence running a section during busy services
- The ability to stay calm,organised and focused under pressure
- A team-focused mindset and willingness to support others
- Pride in consistency,presentation and doing things properly
- Good understanding of food hygiene,health and safety standards
- Reliability,flexibility to work days,evenings & weekends
