Contract: Fixed-term (Immediate Start – End of January 2027)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (occasional Saturday shifts may be required during peak periods)
Pay: £12.75 per hour

As we prepare for our busiest period of the year, we're looking for a motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic individual to join our Operations team on a fixed-term contract until the end of January 2027.

The Role
As a Seasonal Technology Operations Assistant, you'll support several departments across our operations team during our busiest trading period.
You'll receive training across multiple areas of the business, giving you hands-on experience in refurbished technology, quality control, stock processing and product testing. No two days are the same, and you'll work wherever support is needed most to help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Using our bespoke stock management system and specialist diagnostic software, you'll help maintain the high standards that our customers expect and contribute towards delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Throughout your contract, you'll gain experience in a variety of operational areas, including:
Quality Check – Computing & Gaming
- Test laptops, desktop computers, games consoles and gaming accessories.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
- Accurately record test results using our bespoke systems.
- Prepare products for sale.
Goods-In Administration & Quality Control
- Process customer trade-ins and supplier deliveries.
- Book stock into our bespoke stock management system accurately.
- Grade products against company standards.
- Organise and prioritise stock efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records throughout the goods-in process.
Quality Check – Smartphones & Tablets
- Test smartphones, tablets and smartwatches using specialist diagnostic software.
- Identify cosmetic and functional faults.
- Ensure devices meet quality standards before progressing through refurbishment or sale.
- Accurately record testing outcomes.
General Operations
- Support different departments as business requirements change.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work towards daily productivity and quality targets.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the Operations team during the peak season.

Desirable Experience
Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Warehousing
- Retail
- Administration
- Quality control
- Stock processing
- Consumer technology
- Computers or gaming

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
