We use the finest locally sourced ingredients, to create mouth watering and original dishes to suit all tastes. Our menu changes regularly but expect to find plenty of fish & shellfish as well as meat and vegetarian options, hand crafted by our amazing team.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our fun and friendly team, to provide support for our General Restaurant Manager in the day to day running of our restaurant.
Your role
This position is full-time and we will require you to have availability to work lunch-times, evenings and weekends. Candidates should be flexible, hard working and be passionate about high standards of customer service. Experience in a fast paced restaurant or similar business, within a management role, is essential.
Your role will be vital to the development of the team and you will be able to lead, as well as teach, and help provide ongoing training and development.
To be considered for this role you must
- Have a genuine interest for the world of food and drink
- Help to promote and market the restaurant and develop drinks menus etc
- Be able to lead by example and support/motivate a small team
- Be able to work well on your own if necessary
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service at all times
- Be able to provide training and development for other team members
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have the ability to work well under pressure
- Be able to perform, stock taking/ordering, cash handling and cashing up
- Be responsible as a key holder for opening and closing the restaurant
- Bar and Barista knowledge is essential
- Support Manager and Chef in all aspects of service
