Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres on different types of vehicles using appropriate hand and power tools
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and defects, recommending repairs or replacements as necessary
- Balance tyres to ensure smooth operation and minimise vibrations during driving
- Perform tyre repairs such as patching or plugging punctures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to adhere to health and safety standards
- Assist customers by providing advice on tyre selection, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to tyre fitting and vehicle wheel alignment when required
- Conduct heavy lifting of tyres and equipment safely during the fitting process
Experience
- Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding vehicle systems and tyre repair processes
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers is essential
- Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting is beneficial
- Customer service skills are important for engaging professionally with clients and addressing their needs effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, demonstrating physical strength and stamina

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,146.22 per year
