Duties
- Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to promote their comfort and dignity
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Help clients adhere to their personalised care plans by monitoring health conditions and reporting changes to senior staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and update care plans regularly
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care delivery
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring timely and safe transportation
Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to drive for home care responsibilities (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, demonstrating excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining accurate documentation and updating electronic care records
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures that promote safe, person-centered support
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: £13.45-£14.45 per hour
