About Us:
Join the Bang Bang team!
Bang Bang Burger is a growing business based in London. We take pride in creating a dynamic and supportive work environment where innovation and growth are encouraged. Alongside running food service across several popular pubs in South East London and the City, we host residencies, pop-ups and events across London - and we're always looking for new spaces to collaborate with.
We're now on the lookout for a confident, experienced Events Grill Chef (CDP) to join us on the ground at our food trading stalls.
The Role – Events Grill Chef (Food Trading/Stalls)
This is a part-time, flexible position centred around events - as and when they come up. Right now, we have two full days of work every weekend for the next 8 weeks, with plenty more on the horizon beyond that. Shifts can be long, and some will run into the early hours, so we need someone who can maintain their standards and professionalism from start to finish.
This isn't a back-of-house role, you'll be the face of Bang Bang at our stalls, working in fast-paced, high-energy environments including festivals and late-night events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and run our food trading stall, delivering high-quality food efficiently throughout service
- Be confident and engaging on the stall - you'll be front-facing and always representing the brand
- Handle large crowds with ease, keeping service moving and the energy positive
- Assist with the full setup and breakdown of the stall - including assembling gazebos, equipment setup, organising the trading space
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene throughout (HACCP, allergen procedures, cleaning schedules)
- Work long shifts professionally and reliably, including events that run late into the night
- Collaborate with the wider team on the ground to deliver a seamless experience
About You:
- Experience in food trading, market stalls, festivals, or similar events environments — this is essential
- Confident, customer-facing, and comfortable being the face of the brand in a crowd
- Cool under pressure and able to keep standards high during long, demanding shifts
- Sensible, professional and trustworthy - late-night environments require someone we can rely on
- Happy to get hands-on with setup and pack-down
- Holds a Level 2 Food Safety Hygiene certificate
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team on-site
- Experience working/handling LPG cylinders is a bonus
