We’re currently looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver (Road Sweeper) to join our busy operation in Severn Beach.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV driver, or someone looking to develop their skills in a specialist role, with full training provided where required.

The Role
As a Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver, you’ll be responsible for operating our specialist vehicles at a variety of locations throughout the South West.
Your day-to-day work could include:
- Operating road sweeping vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Sweeping streets, highways, construction sites, car parks and customer premises.
- Collecting waste and transporting it for onward disposal at our dedicated waste recycling plant.
- Carrying out specialist operator activities including sweeping, jetting, gully sucking and dust suppression.
- Completing daily vehicle walkaround checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness, both inside and out.
- Working safely and in accordance with environmental and company regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing PMG Services professionally when dealing with clients and members of the public.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and site teams.
What we're looking for
You’ll need:
- HGV Class 2 Licence – Required
- Full Driver CPC – Required
- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
- A strong can-do approach and willingness to get the job done.
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Previous Road Sweeper or left-hand-drive vehicle experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
If you haven’t operated a sweeper before, don’t worry — full training will be provided to the right candidate.
A CSCS Card is also highly desirable.
