To complete and support components of an ADHD assessment, this could include:
Working with clinicians to review and collate relevant information relating to a young person's diagnostic assessment for ADHD.
Working collaboratively with clinicians in clinic settings, setting up clinics, engaging with families and children, undertaking observations, taking notes, contributing to formulations, and tidying up after clinics.
Being willing and able to travel across our entire locality (East Yorkshire and Hull).
Attending relevant meetings and completing school observations.
Assisting with QB testing, as requested by clinicians, as part of a young person's assessment.
Demonstrating effective time management to complete the different aspects of the role.
The post holder will show a strong commitment to developing their knowledge and skills in ADHD and will contribute meaningfully to high-quality, efficient diagnostic assessments by supporting and working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
The successful post holders will receive regular supervision and training to support them in carrying out their roles successfully.
To work under the direction of the B6 Specialist Practitioner to support ADHD assessments.
To work under the direction of the B6 Specialist Practitioner to deliver observations and gather information.
To document all work completed using the trust’s electronic record system in line with documentation legislation.
To attend relevant training to support in carrying out the role effectively.
