Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking using fresh ingredients and following a menu. Previous experience in a Care Home setting is desirable but not essential. As a cook you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall success of residents dining experience.
Basic Hours 18 per week over 3 days but will include some weekend work.
Hours 8am - 2pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the Menu.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
- Complete relevant paperwork to comply with regulations.

- Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation and food presentation.
