Job Summary
You will provide our customers with a memorable experience through friendly and efficient customer service, great drinks and a clean and tidy environment. You will be well presented, polite, outgoing and friendly and able to quickly build a good rapport with customers. Developing your understanding of the qualities and provenance of the food and drink on sale you will use this knowledge to advise customers.
Main Duties
- Prepare great coffee and drinks
- Take customer orders, bring food to tables and clear tables
- Keep your work environment neat and tidy
- Attract new customers and retain loyal ones
- Explain to customers about our menu and ingredients
- Uphold strict hygiene protocols and ensure that all
- Food Safety requirements are met
- Process sales accurately using the point of sale system and follow the correct procedures
- Ensure that you are always smart, professional and courteous
- The above duties are not exhaustive and, from time to time, you may be required to perform other functions
Requirements
- Experience of working in a Café or Bar (Barista training an advantage)
- Passionate about delivering a great experience to our customers
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, committed, self-motivated, professional and flexible
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Food Hygiene knowledge / experience
