Join Our Team as a Dispatch Operative – Late Shift
Location: Lincolnshire Herbs Ltd, Bourne, Lincolnshire
Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
About the Role
We are looking for a Dispatch Operative to join our dynamic team. This role is key to ensuring that customer orders are picked, palletised, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with internal teams to meet dispatch deadlines.
Liaise with the Cut team to ensure correct product sequencing for dispatch.
Pick and prepare customer pallets, ensuring accurate labelling and wrapping.
Use scanners to track and consume products (training provided).
Work with 3rd-party hauliers, managing ETA communications and lorry schedules.
Maintain accurate paperwork and digital records (e.g., delivery notes).
Keep the dispatch area clean, adhering to hygiene and GMP standards.
Report maintenance, quality, or production issues promptly.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
Strong team player with excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in dispatch or warehouse operations (preferred but not essential).
Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and order tracking.
