Duties
- Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout shifts
- Support the storage and rotation of ingredients and supplies to maintain freshness and safety
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, work surfaces, and storage areas regularly during shifts
- Support serving staff during busy periods by providing clean dishware and assisting with light tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Knowledge of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking basics, or culinary experience is a plus
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and guests

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
