Care practitioner Level 2 or 3 (Days)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 or 3 care practitioner to join are dynamic and hard working, friendly team.
Job Description:
As a Care Practitioner at Plas Dyffryn, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our residents. You will provide assistance and support to service users who require care in a residential setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend to all residents’ personal care.
Monitor health and wellbeing of all residents.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
Administer medication and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
Document service users’ care activities in care records, including risk assessments, quarterly reviews and care plans.
supervise, mentor and develop junior care practitioners
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement Resident care plans.
Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 (NVQ or equivalent) in Health and Social Care essential
Skills and personal qualities:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion, patience, and empathy for the elderly.
