Class Recruitment are working with a friendly, well-established nursery group who are looking for passionate and committed Level 3 Practitioners to join their welcoming nursery in Keynsham.
The nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and develop through play. With direct access to fantastic outdoor learning spaces and capacity for up to 92 children, it’s a vibrant setting where no two days are the same.
The nursery prides itself on creating a positive and supportive workplace, where staff feel valued and encouraged to develop their skills and progress within their Early Years career.
The Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you’ll be an important part of the nursery team, supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–5 years.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and providing engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS
- Supporting each child’s individual learning and development
- Building strong and positive relationships with children and their families
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality childcare
- Supporting children's welfare and following safeguarding procedures
- Observing and assessing children's development and contributing to their learning journeys
What we're looking for
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding and SEND
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable and committed attitude
Hours & Salary
Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm
Full-time and part-time permanent opportunities are available, with flexible working patterns considered.
£13.70 – £14.54 per hour, depending on experience and role
