As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. Your assistance with food preparation, dishwashing, and general cleaning will contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment. Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dining areas
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Skills
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
