Summary
The governors of this very successful Catholic High School wish to appoint a Finance Officer for 25 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, to join our Business Support Team.

The successful candidate will:
- Work as part of the Business Support Team to address the needs of the school;
- Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained;
- Have the skills to play a key role in the continued development of this key area;
ROLE
The main duties are:
- to manage all aspects of the schools cashless dining income;
- to process all orders and invoices;
- to manage the day to day running of the schools non-public account;
- to provide financial administration for the Schools Games Organiser;
- to produce and update spreadsheets for a wide range of data;

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English
Essential Experience
- Has excellent numeracy skills
- Communicates well with young people and others typical of one whom would expect in a school
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel with excellent keyboard skills
- Able to use the Internet effectively and efficiently
Desirable Experience
- Has knowledge of the use of SIMS / FMS
- Has a basic knowledge of how schools are organised and managed
