Colour Sound Experiment Ltd is a Lighting, Video, Rigging rental house catering to the live events sector, and we are currently looking to recruit a new Rigging Prep Technician to join our busy team in North West London.
Ideal for someone with previous experience working with entertainment rigging equipment or in a similar warehouse role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare rigging and lifting equipment for live events accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment before and after hire, identifying damage or items requiring maintenance.
- Ensure equipment is correctly maintained and stored.
- Assist with maintaining rigging records and certification documentation.
- Ensure equipment complies with company procedures and relevant safety requirements.
- Count equipment back accurately following each hire.
- Maintain high standards of organisation and housekeeping within the rigging department.
- Work closely with project managers and other warehouse departments to meet tight deadlines.
- Support continuous improvements to warehouse processes and equipment management.
We're looking for someone who
- Has previous experience preparing entertainment rigging equipment or working within a similar warehouse environment.
- Has good knowledge of rigging equipment and safe handling practices.
- Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can prioritise workloads and work independently.
- Is proactive, reliable and enjoys working as part of a busy team.
- Any entertainment industry rigging qualifications or inspection experience would be advantageous but are not essential.

Working days
- 5 days a week, weekend availability is preferred.
- Overtime available during busy periods, paid pro rata

Based at our warehouse in North West London (NW10).
