Specialist, Partnership Management
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and relationship-focused Specialist, Partnership Management to support the development and maintenance of partnerships with higher education institutions across the UK and international markets.
In this role, you will help drive recognition and progression opportunities for Pearson’s vocational qualifications by supporting partnership activities, maintaining accurate records, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and contributing to recognition projects. You will play an important role in ensuring learners have access to clear progression pathways into higher education.
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will support the successful delivery of partnership initiatives while helping to strengthen Pearson’s reputation as a trusted partner in education.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain relationships with higher education institutions to assist qualification recognition and learner progression activities.
Coordinate engagement activities with universities and stakeholders, including meetings, communications, and follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records of progression agreements, articulation arrangements, and recognition outcomes.
Assist in identifying and documenting progression opportunities for learners studying Pearson qualifications.
Provide administrative and operational support for recognition projects and partnership initiatives.
Develop and collate information for marketing materials, stakeholder communications, and promotional activities.
Maintain and update digital platforms, progression databases, inboxes, and website content associated with partnership activities.
Draft verification and progression letters, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely responses to learner and partner enquiries.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor developments within higher education and qualification recognition to support partnership planning and decision-making.
Represent Pearson at meetings, conferences, and events as required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and escalate issues when appropriate.
About You
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting learner progression and educational partnerships.
You will ideally have:
Experience supporting partnership, stakeholder engagement, education, or customer relationship activities.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience maintaining records, tracking activity, and managing multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Confidence using Excel, CRM systems, databases, and digital platforms.
A proactive and solution-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience preparing reports, presentations, or project documentation would be advantageous.
An interest in higher education, qualification recognition, and learner progression. (Advert wording based on the role purpose in the JD.)
