This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-quality, fresh seafood in a busy and well-established restaurant, where creativity, consistency and exceptional customer service are at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
As Chef, you will work alongside and support our Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You will help prepare and present high-quality dishes, maintain exceptional food safety standards, and ensure a smooth and efficient service.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and takes pride in producing consistently excellent food.
Working Hours
- Three days per week
- Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- 10:00am – 10:00pm
- Breaks provided throughout your shift
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Assist with food preparation and service during busy periods.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures are followed at all times.
- Help maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
- Assist with stock rotation, stock control and minimising waste.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
- Support and encourage junior members of the kitchen team where required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- A genuine passion for cooking and producing exceptional food.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene regulations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic.
- A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and contributing to a successful kitchen.
