Round and Round the Gardesn are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator at Level 2 or above to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week. This is four days per week with a day off per week.
In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young children’s development, creating a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play and exploration. Your skills and experience working with children will ensure that every child receives high-quality care and education, fostering their growth and confidence from an early age. Duties
- Playing with and supporting children thorughout the nursery to be settled and happy at the nursery both inside and outside.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental milestones in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and support children’s daily routines, including play, meals, rest, and learning activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and any incidents or concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices for early childhood development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress, needs, and achievements
- Support management in maintaining compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies
Qualifications
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (such as CACHE Level 2 or above)
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childcare regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £25,420.00-£29,000.00 per year
