Here at Phoenix Hospital Group we strive upon our excellent customer service skills. We are seeking a dedicated Bookings Coordinator and Medical Secretary to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing patient bookings, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of patient care.
Responsibilities:

Manage patient bookings and appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal scheduling for healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling patient inquiries.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow within the practice.
- Assist in the preparation of medical documents and reports as required.
- Monitor and manage the practice's appointment system to minimise cancellations and no-shows.
- Ensure that all patient interactions are handled with professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical administrative role or similar position.
- Proficient in using medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
