Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant, SEND School Coventry

Contract: Full-Time (37.5 Hours a Week), Term Time Only
Pay: £92.62–£100 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions) / approx. £463–£500 weekly
Job Description:
We are working with a specialist SEND School in Coventry who are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school offers excellent pastoral support and uses a therapeutic approach to help pupils achieve both academically and personally.
You will build positive relationships with pupils, support emotional regulation, encourage positive behaviour and help create a calm, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Requirements:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or SEND is desirable
- Calm, resilient and positive approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Two recent and relevant references
- Right to work in the UK
