We are seeking a Senior Earthing Design Engineer to lead the earthing design elements of major electricity network projects within a regulated Distribution Network Operator (DNO) environment.

- Improve project performance and reduce risk through accurate earthing calculations, modelling, and technical assurance using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Build trusted relationships with DNOs and key stakeholders to secure timely approvals, resolve technical challenges, and support efficient project delivery.
- Ensure seamless integration of earthing systems by collaborating closely with electrical, civil, and cable design teams across multi-disciplinary projects.
- Support successful construction and commissioning outcomes by providing technical guidance to contractors, resolving site issues, and reviewing as-built information.
- Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement by embedding safety-by-design principles, maintaining compliance, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of earthing design standards and practices.

- Expert understanding of earthing theory, fault current distribution, soil modelling, and mitigation techniques.
- Ability to interpret and apply ENA, BS EN, IEC, and DNO‑specific earthing standards.
- Confident producing and checking earthing layouts, sections, details, and calculation reports.
