Air Conditioning Service/Installation Engineer

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a role where you'll spend more time fault finding and fixing equipment, rather than carrying out basic maintenance?
We're working with an established HVAC contractor looking to add an experienced Service or Installation Engineer to their growing team. You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial and selected domestic sites throughout the region.
This role would suit someone who enjoys technical fault finding, takes pride in completing work to a high standard and is confident working independently.
- Install, Service, fault find and repair a range of air conditioning equipment.
- Attend reactive breakdowns across a varied customer base.
- Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance where required.
- Diagnose electrical and refrigeration faults.
- Replace components including compressors, fan motors, expansion valves, PCBs and controls.
- Complete accurate service reports and recommend remedial works where necessary.
- Deliver a professional service while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Work safely in line with company and industry standards.

- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Proven experience in the installation or servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
- Experience working independently in customer-facing environments.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Experience working on Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Toshiba or similar manufacturers.
- Refrigeration experience.
- CSCS Card.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
The role covers a regional patch across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties, working on a varied portfolio of sites. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload while being supported by an experienced engineering team when required.
