Working in the Affordable Housing Grants directorate, you will join a team led by Caroline Cormack, Assistant Director, Client Management. You will play a key role in improving the systems and processes that support Affordable Housing Grants, working closely with agile, multi-disciplinary project and Digital support teams.
With a particular focus on Strategic Partnerships and the wider grant management lifecycle, you will work with internal and external users to understand challenges, develop practical solutions and contribute to the design of improvements and new features. Using your knowledge and experience, you will help ensure solutions are realistic, effective and aligned to business needs.
You will be joining a friendly, talented team dedicated to improving systems and streamlining business processes to drive transformation across Affordable Housing Grants. Your work will contribute directly to the successful delivery of the new £27bn Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP), helping Homes England to manage grant funding effectively, improve user experience and strengthen oversight across current and historical grant funding.
Working collaboratively across all parts of the Agency and with external stakeholders, you will bring together diverse perspectives and experience to continuously improve processes, influence system design, and help foster a positive, inclusive culture.
This role will also be responsible for keeping relevant colleagues across Affordable Housing Grants, regional teams and the wider agency informed and engaged in this process to ensure that solutions take into account, and benefit from diverse perspectives.
You will use your experience and knowledge of affordable housing grant funding systems and processes to provide a valuable contribution the delivery of affordable housing now and for the future.
You will be able to understand how digital solutions affect the business, particularly the impact of any new systems or processes on Affordable Housing Grants colleagues.
In addition, you will be able to offer the benefit of your experience when exploring solutions to any issues raised by users or through the development of new functionality.
You will have project management and collaborative working skills and an ability to establish productive relationships quickly, whilst maintaining existing key relationships within the business.
