Baker
Responsibilities:
- Bread and Pastry Production:
o Daily production of our sourdough breads, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to our high standards
o Participate in the entire bread and pastry-making process, from ingredient preparation to final product presentation
o Maintain a clean and organised baking area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
o Maintain accurate inventory control of baking ingredients and supplies
o Implement and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
o Assist with maintaining a clean and hygienic bakery environment
o Assist with customer service duties, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
What You'll Bring:
- At least 3 years of experience baking bread and pastries, with a proven track record of producing high-quality products
- A deep passion for baking and a strong understanding of bread-making techniques, including sourdough, baguettes, and other artisan breads
- Experience working in a fast-paced bakery environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- A commitment to health and safety regulations
- Responsible, responsive and problem solving skills - able to use intuition and think on your feet
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
