Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our team in GB. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing procurement processes that support our maintenance and industrial repair services, aligning with our commitment to excellence and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other platforms to process purchase orders and track procurement data.
- Stock Control & Materials management
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and optimize inventory levels.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare reports on procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement within the transport or industrial sectors.
- CIPS Certification.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Statii, or similar platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.Call-To-Action
