Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our team at Applewood Care Home, in Tadley and Braeburn Lodge in Beeham. This vital role ensures our homes remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all residents and staff. Your expertise will contribute directly to creating a comfortable and uplifting environment that aligns with our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the care homes to ensure safety and functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues promptly.
- Conduct inspections based on weekly/monthly schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with care staff to address any environmental concerns affecting residents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance, electrical work, or mechanical repair.
- Qualifications releated to maintenance related trades would be benifical.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Customer service orientation with a caring attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements
- As the role is split across 2 of our sites, a full, clean UK driving liscence is required and due to our company vehical insurances applicants must be 25 years old or older to drive our vehicals.
Hours/Pay
- 16 hours per week - split between the 2 hours as required by their needs.
- £13.50-£14.50 per hour dependant on experience/qualifications
