Job Summary
Starbucks Broadfold Road Drive Thru are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service will be key to ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve daily goals.
Skills
- Strong ability to help customers with their selections, providing recommendations when needed.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
