Who we are;
We are a family run company established since 1994, renowned for outstanding customer service. We operate in the grocery sector under the SuperValu & Centra symbols, with Circle-K petrol pumps on the forecourt & have been serving our local community for over 30 years. We have recently opened a brand new, state of the art store Wilson’s Centra Carn. This store has key focus on Food to Go, so the deli will be fast paced and paramount to the success of the store.

Due to continued expansion & opening of the new store, we are looking for Deli Assistants to join our team at Wilson's Centra Carn. In both roles, you will be customer facing so will be responsible for serving customers over the hot & cold counters, as well as making / pre packing Dinners, Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads & much more for customers to purchase from our fridges.
As the deli is very busy & fast paced, it is essential you work well under pressure & can work as part of a team at a fast pace.
Both Full & Part time roles are available (2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week).
Responsibilities:
- Serving customers with a friendly smile
- Ensuring all displays are filled as needed and kept presentable at all times
- Filling out HACCP (Food Safety) paperwork each shift
- Coordinate with other departments (Shop Floor & Butchery) to ensure efficient operations
- Keeping work areas clean and presentable with a full clean down at the end of each shift.
Desirable
- Experience working in a busy food / retail environment such as Deli, Chippy, Kitchen or Cafe
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Shift Pattern
Our Deli team work on a 4 work Cycle, so each team member will have at least 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays off, including a full weekend off, every 4 weeks. Shifts are between the hours of 6am-4pm, with evening work only for those who want it!
