Job Summary
Cothill is a day and boarding Co Educational prep school for children aged 7-13. We are seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants to join our friendly team, to cover the following shifts:
Available shifts
- Tuesday: 10:00am – 2:30pm
- Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 10:00am – 2:30pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm, or 3:00pm – 8:00pm
- Sunday: 8:45am – 2:45pm

Pay - From £11.96 per hour (aged 16/17) and from £12.71 per hour (aged 18+)
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and hospitality tasks within the school, and in particular in the Dining Room and Wash Up areas.
- To help set up and serve Match Teas for parents on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
- To ensure the cleanliness of dorms, bathrooms, toilets and other areas around the school.
- To comply with health and safety regulations and policies, including COSHH when using chemicals.
- To support the school in carrying out its safeguarding obligations.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, particularly within a school environment, is highly desirable but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
The school is not on a public transport route, and so your own transport will be necessary to get here.
