The Global Learning Content Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-impact, blended learning experiences that elevate ELEMIS’ expertise across skincare, treatments, sales and retail education. This role is responsible for creating engaging, brand-aligned content that supports commercial excellence and deepens product and service knowledge for global ELEMIS colleagues and partners within spa and retail.
Working in close collaboration with Global Education, the designer ensures that all digital learning and training content reflects the latest brand messaging, treatment innovation and strategic priorities. With a strong focus on digital education and execution, this role is ideal for a content creator who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, instructional design and delivering education that enhances the brand’s presence and authority across online platforms.
Operating Model
Global Learning Content Designers are aligned to dedicated business functions to provide specialist content expertise while maintaining a consistent global approach to instructional design. Designers partner with stakeholders across People, Marketing Operations and Education to create high-quality learning content that supports both internal colleagues and external commercial partners. We have multiple vacancies available, aligned to the above department.
Instructional Content Development & Innovation
- Design and develop high-impact learning content across multiple formats—including training manuals, workbooks, digital presentations, facilitator guides and interactive eLearning modules—that support the development of ELEMIS staff, retail, spa, OSW and education teams globally. Translate complex product, treatment and brand knowledge into engaging, learner-friendly materials that are accessible, clear and actionable.
- Ensure that all educational content reflects ELEMIS’ brand tone, visual identity and core messaging, while supporting broader learning objectives and the global training strategy. Partner closely with Marketing, Creative and Communications teams to align training materials with product launches, campaign milestones and promotional strategies.
- Lead the creation of compelling multimedia learning experiences using current instructional design models and adult learning principles. Apply visual storytelling techniques to enrich knowledge retention and engagement, ensuring materials are relevant, culturally inclusive and scalable across diverse global markets.
Train-the-Trainer Enablement
- Support the successful global rollout of new content through comprehensive Train-the-Trainer toolkits. Clearly communicate the purpose, structure and learning outcomes of new materials to regional managers, training managers and their teams by providing detailed lesson plans, set-up instructions and facilitator training notes that enable consistent and confident delivery.
- Collaborate with training managers to ensure they are fully equipped to deliver instructor-led sessions with impact, precision and alignment to brand standards. Conduct virtual or in-person training walkthroughs when needed to embed understanding, address questions and model best practice for execution.
- Build a framework for continuous trainer support that includes feedback loops, updated teaching resources and access to ongoing content enhancements.
Content Revisioning & Optimisation
- Proactively review and revise existing training content to maintain accuracy, freshness and alignment with evolving business needs, brand innovations and regulatory guidelines. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by conducting regular audits of learning materials and implementing refinements based on trainer and learner feedback, performance data and learner analytics.
- Utilise insights from post-training assessments, platform engagement metrics and qualitative feedback to enhance instructional effectiveness. Adapt legacy materials into new formats and technologies—such as microlearning, mobile-first modules or video-based content—ensuring consistent learning experiences across channels and regions.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in instructional design, digital learning technologies and learner experience (LX) to evolve and future-proof the ELEMIS learning ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Alignment
- Work collaboratively with global and regional stakeholders—including Education, Retail, Spa, OSW, Marketing, Design, Regulatory and New Product Development (NPD)—to ensure training programmes support product strategy, market goals and business priorities.
- Report to and align with the Head of Global Learning and Content, providing regular updates on project timelines, priorities and resourcing needs. Act as a key point of connection between creative, educational and operational functions, helping to maintain a unified global voice across all learning touchpoints.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with internal field trainers and external vendors to deliver a seamless and consistently excellent learning experience that supports team development, brand advocacy and commercial success.
