This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Natural Resources business as a Senior Legal Counsel. You'll be working with a dynamic team supporting major infrastructure projects across the Water, Nuclear & Energy, and Environment sectors. We're looking for a commercially minded lawyer who thrives on building strong relationships and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice. Initially, your focus will be on supporting our Water sector business, working with well-known clients including Severn Trent, Southern Water, United Utilities, Thames Water, and Anglian Water. Over time, your role will broaden across our entire Natural Resources portfolio, including nationally significant projects such as Sizewell C and the STEP nuclear fusion project.

- Supporting bids for major infrastructure contracts and frameworks, advising on legal risk and strategy
- Advising on procurement and subcontracting, including drafting and negotiating contracts

- Advising on regulatory matters and supporting internal governance and risk management processes
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Legal Counsel is great for you if:
- You're a qualified Solicitor or Barrister (8-10 years' PQE, though we'll consider those with lower PQE with strong experience) admitted to England & Wales
- You have knowledge and experience of UK infrastructure contracting or construction law, gained from private practice or in-house
- You're a collaborative relationship builder who can work effectively with people at all levels
- You have strong non-contentious experience and are willing to develop contentious skills
- You can explain complex legal concepts in simple commercial language
